Wow we are officially in the same month as my single release and show, & I’m a little in disbelief. Things are happening quickly now! I have a few more exciting announcements to share as the year already kicks off with a positive start:
First, I got merch! My very first merch! I had a friend of mine who’s a local tattoo artist sketch up something for a mathbox design and it’s utterly perfect. I just got the shipment in, and they are perfect. Plus, new stickers! A friend of mine was kind enough to print some for my first show back in March, but this time around I wanted to have them professionally done. So, stickers and matchboxes will be for sale at my show on the 19th, or simply send me an email or dm on insta/tiktok if you’d like to purchase one!

Second, a good friend of mine, Adam Cheek, pitched the single release to Richmond Magazine back in November. We did a formal interview (well, as formal as it gets with a friend who’s a journalist & podcaster), and this month, I am featured in the January issue of the magazine.
Yeah, I’m in a freakin’ magazine!!!

Print copies are on newsstands now, or you can read it here.
Third, I play a cozy little set on Saturday, January 10th at Virago Spirits to kick off the new year. Virago is a lovely distillery hidden in between Richmond’s Carver and Scott’s Addition neighborhoods. If you look up the directions & think you’re lost, then you’re probably in the right spot, because it’s wedged amidst industrial buildings with only one unapparent sign, à la speakeasy. But don’t be deterred by its location; inside, an eclectic mix of sofa couches and chairs invite guests to get comfortable with one of the distillery’s many well-crafted cocktails. I’ll play an ambient and nostalgic set of songs from 5 to 7 pm.
Plus, the single release show is less than 2 weeks away, and then the song comes out the 20th!
