There’s something warm & inviting about Barnes & Nobles. Maybe it’s the abundance of freshly printed, practically untouched books, or the utter peacefulness of the store, or the anticipation of finding a new book or buying the one you’ve been dying to read. Regardless, walking into Barnes & Nobles makes my heart happy.
About a month ago I went to a Barnes & Nobles (a particularly large one, might I add), and had an absolute field day: I bought seven books. And yes, I plan on reading all of them before the year is done.
The books I brought home were a mix of classic books that I have read many times & couldn’t wait to add to my personal collection, and some new books I have heard wonderful things of. Among my reading list are also books I added to my library this year but haven’t gotten the chance to dive into yet. So while I started checking off books from my list during the summer, there’s truly nothing like cuddling up with a blanket, hot mug of coffee and a good book for the Fall.

As you can tell, I’m a hopeless romantic, and always thinking about the glamorous aspects of another era. Also, due to my current unemployed status, I have been into some young adult books about the turning of age & finding your way. And Fitzgerald is one of my favorite authors, so when I found This Side of Paradise and The Beautiful & Damned for a steal, it was a no-brainer to add them to my collection!
Happy reading!

Barnes and nobles is the best! It always leaves your heart feeling happy even if you don’t walk out with a book.
